My son Nick Edgar took advantage of the free EMT Course offered at his High School during his senior year.  After successfully becoming an EMT and graduating high school, he moved to Daytona Beach, Florida.  Nick was hired by Volusia County EMS and works the overnight shift in one of the most active areas of the County.  Nick has embraced his EMT role and understands the important role he plays with his Paramedic partner.  Not only am I proud of him, but he offers some unique perspectives on the new generation of the EMS workforce. 

 

Nick's interest includes government and politics.  He currently is a candidate for the City of Daytona Commission, representing the area he currently lives.
