Linda recently retired having served 28 years at Medic EMS in the Quad Cities, with the last 19 years in the position of Executive Director.  Linda is a leader in EMS at a local, state and national level, holding various positions on work groups and serving as President of the Iowa EMS Association.  Prior to retirement, she took the largest EMS service in Iowa from a non-profit to a county-based government system.  This change set in place the ability for the service to participate in funding programs such as GEMT and allowed staff to be part of the Iowa Public Employees Retirement System.    As an RN/BSN, Linda's clinical experience and focus on excellence with her agency was a model for others to follow!  Linda has been a great friend and colleague throughout my career.  She brings expertise and experience that is unmatched.
