Jim Jones
Jim Jones and I met when he was a mentee with the inaugural NAEMT Lighthouse Leadership Program. Jim's motivation to be a leader and help others is driven by his daily battle with Cancer. Diagnosed several years ago with occult metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, he continues to be an inspiration to all those around him. Jim has defied the odds and is dedicated to using the time given to him through aggressive treatment to continue his work educating and mentoring others.
Jim is an Army Veteran and continues to have an impact on public safety daily while working as the Deputy Chief of Operations for the Lumberton, Texas Fire and EMS Department.
